1. Our Commitment to Privacy

Conversion Is Key ("Conversion Is Key," "CIK," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to being transparent about how information is collected, used, shared, and retained through our websites, services, communications, and affiliated brands and services.

This Privacy Policy explains our practices when you visit ConversionIsKey.com, submit information to us, communicate with us, use website features or AI-enabled tools, or otherwise interact with Conversion Is Key and its affiliated brands and services, including Local Conversion System.

Certain products, services, offers, platforms, or contractual relationships may include additional privacy terms or notices applicable to that particular interaction.

2. U.S.-Based Operations and International Visitors

Conversion Is Key is a United States-based business whose websites, products, and services may be accessible to or offered to customers and visitors worldwide.

We operate our business using technologies, service providers, business practices, and safeguards reasonably available to a U.S.-based business and designed to meet applicable United States legal requirements.

We also seek, where reasonably practicable, to follow responsible privacy, security, transparency, and data-handling practices that can support an international audience. However, the availability of our website or services in a particular country does not represent or guarantee that every feature, practice, or service has been specifically designed to satisfy every law, regulatory framework, certification, or technical standard of every jurisdiction worldwide.

Where a law outside the United States applies to a particular interaction notwithstanding our U.S.-based operations, we will address applicable obligations as required by law.

Individuals who have privacy rights under laws applicable to their circumstances may contact hello@conversioniskey.com to exercise those rights.

3. Information We Collect

The information we collect depends on how you interact with us.

  • your name;
  • email address;

  • business or organization name and information;
  • website information;
  • information submitted through contact, inquiry, consultation, Board Publishing, service-request, or similar forms;
  • messages and communications;
  • information voluntarily provided through A.C.E. or other chat functionality;
  • information associated with requests for products, services, opportunities, quotes, consultations, or support; and
  • other information you choose to provide.

Please do not submit passwords, Social Security numbers, financial-account credentials, or similarly sensitive information through ordinary website forms or chat unless we specifically request that information through an appropriate secure process.

Website and Usage Information

We may collect information concerning use of our websites, including:

  • pages visited;
  • links or buttons clicked;
  • time spent on pages;
  • scrolling and engagement information;
  • device and browser information;
  • referral and campaign information; and
  • approximate geographic information, such as country, state or region, and city.

CIK's current first-party Site Statistics implementation does not intentionally store a visitor's raw IP address.

However, an IP address and other technical information may necessarily be transmitted to hosting providers, communications services, and other third-party providers when your device communicates with their systems.

4. How We Use Information

We may use information we collect to:

  • respond to inquiries and requests;
  • provide products and services;
  • communicate about requested services;
  • provide reasonable and relevant follow-up;
  • prepare consultations, proposals, or service opportunities;
  • maintain customer and prospective-customer relationships;
  • maintain and operate our CRM;
  • provide customer or technical support;
  • administer accounts and portals;
  • operate and improve our websites;
  • understand website performance and usage;

  • operate and develop Conversion Is Key and its affiliated brands and services.

5. Conversion Is Key Ecosystem and Shared CRM

Conversion Is Key operates multiple brands, services, and business initiatives.

Information submitted to Conversion Is Key or an affiliated CIK brand or service may be maintained within a shared CIK customer relationship management system.

For example, information submitted through Local Conversion System may be maintained in the shared CIK CRM while preserving Local Conversion System as the source of that relationship or inquiry.

Where reasonably practicable, we intend to preserve relevant source and attribution information so that the origin of an inquiry is not unnecessarily lost.

Information may be used across relevant CIK affiliated brands and services when reasonably related to your inquiry, existing relationship, requested services, support needs, opportunities, or communications.

This internal use does not mean that CIK sells your contact information to unrelated businesses.

6. Forms, Telephone Numbers and Communications

When you submit a form, we may use the information you provide to respond to your inquiry and communicate regarding requested services, relevant follow-up, opportunities, or offers from Conversion Is Key or relevant affiliated brands and services.

Providing a telephone number through an appropriate inquiry or service form may allow CIK or the relevant affiliated brand or service to call you or leave a voicemail concerning your inquiry, requested services, or reasonable related follow-up.

Marketing communications may be opted out of as provided in the communication or by contacting us.

Text Messages and Automated Communications

Submitting an ordinary inquiry form or providing a telephone number does not, by itself, constitute blanket consent to receive future automated or prerecorded promotional calls or marketing text messages where separate consent is required by applicable law.

If CIK implements promotional or automated SMS/text messaging requiring separate consent, we intend to provide an appropriate consent mechanism and associated disclosures.

7. Email Communications and Marketing

We may send email related to:

  • inquiries;
  • requested services;
  • account administration;
  • security;
  • customer relationships;
  • support;
  • transactions;
  • relevant opportunities; and
  • marketing or promotional communications where permitted.

Marketing-email recipients may opt out using the unsubscribe method provided in the message or by contacting us.

Opting out of marketing communications does not necessarily prevent transactional, security, account, service-related, or other non-marketing communications.

8. A.C.E., Chat and Artificial Intelligence

CIK may provide chat and AI-enabled functionality, including A.C.E.

A.C.E. and other AI or automated technologies may be used for purposes including:

  • answering questions;
  • website assistance;
  • customer communications;
  • service assistance;
  • content assistance;
  • analysis;
  • workflow automation;
  • administrative functions;
  • lead handling;
  • requested follow-up; and
  • service delivery.

Information voluntarily submitted through chat may be used to respond to you, provide assistance, facilitate requested follow-up, and, where appropriate, create or update a record in CIK's CRM.

When identifiable lead information enters the CRM through chat, CIK may retain information identifying chat or A.C.E. as the source when technically available.

AI-generated or automated responses can contain errors, omissions, or incomplete information. Appropriate judgment should be used when relying upon AI-generated information.

Unless expressly provided as part of a qualified professional engagement, AI-generated information should not be considered a substitute for legal, medical, financial, accounting, tax, or other regulated professional advice.

Tawk.to

CIK currently uses Tawk.to to provide website chat functionality.

Tawk.to may process technical and usage information associated with the chat service, including information such as IP address, device or usage information, and location-related information according to its own practices.

Chat conversations may also be retained through the provider's systems and may be retained separately by CIK when incorporated into CRM, customer-service, contractual, security, or other legitimate business records.

CIK does not presently intend to purchase additional chat-history storage solely for the purpose of preserving older conversations.

9. First-Party Site Statistics

CIK uses first-party Site Statistics to understand how visitors use its websites and to improve website performance and experience.

Information may include:

  • page views;
  • clicks;
  • time on page;
  • scrolling;
  • device/browser information;
  • campaign or referral information; and
  • approximate country, state/region, and city.

CIK's current Site Statistics implementation does not intentionally retain the visitor's raw IP address.

Detailed visitor-level Site Statistics are generally intended to be retained for approximately 24 months.

CIK may retain aggregated or non-visitor-level statistical information for longer periods, including for historical analysis and business planning.

10. Cookies and Similar Technologies

CIK and services used in connection with our websites may use cookies, scripts, pixels, local storage, or similar technologies.

Depending upon the technology and configuration, these technologies may support:

  • necessary website functionality;
  • communications and chat;
  • security;
  • analytics and website statistics;
  • preferences;
  • attribution;
  • affiliate or referral tracking; and
  • other disclosed functions.

Where applicable law requires a particular choice or consent before certain non-essential technologies are activated, CIK intends to provide appropriate controls where reasonably required.

Visitors may also be able to manage certain technologies through browser or device settings.

CIK may update its privacy-choice technologies and classifications as its websites, providers, or applicable requirements change.

11. Impact and Partnership/Affiliate Technology

CIK currently uses technology provided by Impact/impact.com.

Impact technology may support functions such as partnership or affiliate attribution, impression measurement, link transformation, or related tracking functionality depending upon configuration.

CIK is presently verifying the configuration and intended use of its external Impact account. We therefore do not represent that every capability offered by Impact is necessarily active on CIK websites.

This Privacy Policy may be updated if additional information about that configuration materially changes the description of CIK's practices.

12. Google Fonts and External Website Resources

CIK websites may retrieve fonts, scripts, media, or other resources from external providers, including Google.

When your browser connects directly to an external provider to retrieve a resource, technical information such as an IP address and browser information may be transmitted as part of that connection.

Providers and technical implementations may change as CIK develops its websites.

13. Service Providers

CIK may use third-party service providers to help operate its business and websites.

These may include providers supporting:

  • website hosting and infrastructure;
  • communications;
  • email;
  • chat;
  • artificial intelligence and automation;
  • CRM and business operations;
  • website statistics and analytics;
  • security;
  • affiliate or referral attribution;
  • payment processing when applicable;
  • transaction processing when applicable; and
  • other contracted operational services.

Providers may process information as reasonably necessary to perform their services and according to applicable agreements, laws, and their own responsibilities.

14. Selling Personal Information

As a general business practice, Conversion Is Key does not sell personal or contact information to unrelated third parties for monetary compensation.

This does not prevent appropriate:

  • processing by service providers;
  • use among relevant CIK affiliated brands and services;
  • legally required disclosures;
  • business transfers;
  • security-related disclosures; or
  • properly disclosed referrals, introductions, affiliate relationships, partnerships, or other business arrangements permitted by applicable law.

15. Affiliate, Referral and Compensated Relationships

CIK may receive commissions, referral fees, affiliate compensation, or other benefits from certain relationships, recommendations, products, services, or links.

Not every external link, recommendation, product, or service mentioned by CIK is compensated.

Where a material compensated relationship is connected with a particular endorsement or recommendation and disclosure is appropriate, CIK intends to provide a clear disclosure reasonably near the applicable content.

Additional information may also be provided through CIK's General Disclaimer or other disclosures.

16. Information Retention

CIK generally follows these retention practices:

Site Statistics

Detailed visitor-level Site Statistics are generally retained for approximately 24 months.

Aggregated or non-visitor-level statistics may be retained longer.

Leads, Inquiries and CRM

Contact submissions, Board Publishing inquiries, CRM records, customer/prospect history, and related business records currently have no automatic deletion schedule.

These records may be retained until intentionally deleted or until CIK determines that they are no longer reasonably needed, subject to applicable legal obligations, rights, disputes, contractual requirements, and legitimate business needs.

Chat

Chat information is subject to the capabilities and retention practices of the applicable chat provider and any information separately maintained by CIK.

Business and Legal Records

Contractual, transactional, tax, accounting, security, legal, dispute, compliance, and similar records may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary or required.

17. Information Sharing and Disclosure

CIK may disclose information when reasonably necessary:

  • to provide requested products or services;
  • to service providers supporting CIK's operations;
  • within relevant CIK affiliated brands and services as described in this Policy;
  • to comply with applicable law or lawful legal process;
  • to investigate or prevent fraud, abuse, or security incidents;
  • to enforce agreements;
  • to protect CIK's rights, property, systems, users, or clients;
  • to protect the rights, safety, or security of others; or
  • in connection with a legitimate business transfer.

We seek to limit such disclosures to what is reasonably appropriate under the circumstances.

18. Business Transfers

Information may be transferred or made available as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, sale, transfer of assets, succession, or similar business transaction.

Any such transaction remains subject to applicable legal and privacy obligations.

A legitimate business transfer is distinct from CIK's general practice of not selling personal contact information to unrelated third parties for monetary compensation.

19. Security

CIK uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to its operations and the information involved.

However, no website, network, transmission method, storage system, software platform, or security measure can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Accordingly, CIK cannot guarantee absolute security.

20. Third-Party Websites and Services

CIK websites may link to websites, platforms, social networks, products, or services operated by independent third parties.

Those third parties may have their own:

  • privacy policies;
  • terms;
  • security practices;
  • data practices;
  • content;
  • pricing; and
  • availability.

CIK does not control an independent third party merely because CIK links to, references, recommends, or integrates with that provider.

CIK's own affiliated brands and services should not automatically be considered unrelated third parties solely because they operate through different websites or brand identities.

21. Privacy Rights and Requests

Depending upon where you reside, the nature of your relationship with CIK, and the law applicable to a particular interaction, you may have rights concerning your personal information.

These rights may include, where applicable, the ability to request:

  • access;
  • correction;
  • deletion;
  • information concerning processing;
  • restriction of certain processing;
  • objection to certain processing;
  • portability; or
  • other rights provided by applicable law.

Privacy rights differ by jurisdiction and do not necessarily apply identically to every person or every interaction.

To submit a privacy request, contact:

hello@conversioniskey.com

CIK may take reasonable steps to verify the identity or authority of the person making a request. Verification should be proportionate to the nature of the request and information involved.

A deletion request does not necessarily require deletion of information that CIK is permitted or required to retain for legitimate business, contractual, security, legal, tax, dispute-resolution, or compliance purposes.

22. Children and Minimum Age

CIK's general websites, forms, and services are intended for individuals 18 years of age or older.

CIK does not knowingly solicit personal information from children through its general website forms.

If CIK later develops a service specifically intended for minors, that service should receive a separate privacy and compliance review before launch.

23. Changes to This Privacy Policy

CIK may update this Privacy Policy as its business, services, technology, providers, practices, or applicable requirements change.

Each published version will identify an effective or last-updated date.

Where appropriate, CIK may provide additional notice concerning material changes.

CIK is not promising individual notification of every minor wording or administrative change.
